Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Scotia Wealth Management advisors to deliver estate planning services and other trust solutions to HNW clients.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with clients, partners, and centres of influence through business development opportunities.
  • Take a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring actions and behaviors drive a positive client experience while operating within relevant policies and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the effective functioning of the team by building effective working relationships, coaching and mentoring colleagues, and facilitating open communication.
  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A background and experience in estate, trust, or financial planning, preferably with 3 years of wealth planning experience.
  • In-depth experience dealing with HNW clients and their advisors.
  • In-depth knowledge and technical proficiency related to wealth and estate planning strategies such as insurance, tax, family, and charity law, and business succession.
  • A university degree in law, which is an asset.
  • Membership of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation, which is an asset.
