Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at The Boyd Group. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal controls and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans to identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
- Conduct audits of various financial and operational functions to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and provide recommendations for improvement to management.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including management and process owners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in internal auditing.
Requirements:
- CPA designation or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of internal or external auditing experience, including experience in process documentation, risk assessment, and audit planning/execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Experience with auditing controls within Workday is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet project timelines.
