Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Kautex, a subsidiary of Textron Inc. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform equipment repairs and adjustments to maintain optimal production levels
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment using the EAM system to minimize downtime
  • Perform facility repairs and housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Fabricate and install new equipment as needed
  • Perform heavy lifting and rigging tasks
  • Work at heights as required
Requirements:
  • Millwright/Journeyman's Ticket
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a trade
  • Industrial Maintenance Mechanic college diploma
  • Machine shop tool operation experience
  • Proven experience in certified welding (ARC, MIG, TIG)
  • Pneumatic circuit fabrication and troubleshooting experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with plastic material feed systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Crane/rigging experience
  • Basic knowledge of large material grinders and operations
