Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR professional to join our team as a Documentation & Compliance Human Resources Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation, review, and maintenance of employment documents while ensuring compliance with Canadian employment law and HR best practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of Employment Documentation Consultants, providing training and guidance on Canadian employment law and HR best practices.
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and updating of employment documents in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Ensure efficient service delivery, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and client expectations.
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and professional development plans for team members.
  • Organize team meetings, training sessions, and coaching workshops to enhance productivity and knowledge-sharing.
  • Manage complex documentation inquiries and client escalations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Legal and HR Advisory, to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Monitor team workload to ensure deadlines and service targets are met.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • CHRP designation is mandatory.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR documentation, employment law, or a related field.
    • Leadership or team management experience is an asset.
    • Degree or diploma in Human Resources.
    • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law and HR best practices.
    • Experience in a client-facing role, ideally providing HR advice to all levels of staff.
