A Role in Our IT End User Services TeamThe IT End User Services group is looking to fill a position on our Service Desk team, which serves as the first point of contact for Brookfield Renewable staff to contact the IT team.
This role will focus on resolving incidents, problems, and requests, or routing tickets appropriately where required.
Main Responsibilities- Receive, act on, and triage requests to the IT team via various channels, including phone calls, emails, and our ServiceNow portal.
- Provide Level 1 and 1.5 support to end users, covering tasks such as password resets, software installations/uninstallations, operating system issues, hardware problems, mobile device management, printer setup, and enterprise-wide tool administration.
- Assist in the administration of our Office 365 platform and provide remote support to users via TeamViewer and SCCM.
- Participate in asset management and tracking of both hardware and software assets.
- Candidate should hold a College Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Programming / Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent work experience will be accepted.
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and work on multiple tickets at once.
- Customer-centric mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving ability.
- Ability to articulate solutions clearly and effectively to non-technical colleagues.
- Experience using ServiceNow as a ticketing system.
- Functional knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10 enterprise deployments.
- Understanding of Group Policy structure is an asset.
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
