Aurora Marble & Granite Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-quality building construction materials, and we are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist Specialist to join our team.

Estimated Salary:

$55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Machinist Specialist to work in our production facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines and be proficient in reading engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and adjusting production machinery/tools, fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance, maintaining inspection records, and completing inspection reports.

They will also be required to verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments and set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines to manufacture high-quality building construction materials
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools
  • Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in operating CNC machines
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
  • Physical ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Attention to detail and accurate work
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and initiative
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires working on site at our production facility. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, but you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team and contribute to the success of our company.
