Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a CNC Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our clients' CNC Machine Tool product lines.

You will travel to customer sites to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring that equipment operates at optimal levels of quality and efficiency. Your diagnostic skills will be essential in identifying defects in CNC Machine Tools, and your mechanical and electrical repair expertise will enable you to perform complex repairs and tests.

You will also investigate customer complaints, analyze problems, and provide detailed service reports and documentation. Additionally, you will maintain company-provided equipment, follow all service operations and procedures, and adhere to workplace safety policies and regulations.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in technical field support - machine tools, automation, or electromechanical controls
  • Ability to perform mechanical and electrical repairs on CNC machines and test for proper performance
  • Installation, commissioning, and alignment of CNC Machine Tools
  • CNC programming knowledge is an asset
  • Customer-oriented, conscientious, and career-minded approach, with excellent people skills
  • Good communication skills, valid driver's license, and ability to travel within Eastern Canada but predominantly in Southern Ontario
