Electrical Engineering Lead for Industrial Biofuel Projects

BBA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to lead and execute electrical engineering projects within our growing biofuel sector.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for industrial clients across Quebec and Canada.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for biofuel projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, process engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports, clearly communicating design concepts and project progress.
  • Provide expert guidance on electrical system performance, troubleshooting, and maintenance, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Minimum 8 years of proven experience in industrial electrical engineering, with a focus on biofuel or renewable energy projects.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical distribution systems, including medium and low voltage applications.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
