The Vintage Hotels is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Sous Chef to join our team of culinary experts.
Job Summary:We are looking for a talented pastry chef to oversee the preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats in our esteemed hotel's kitchen.
About You:To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in a fine dining establishment with a focus on pastry. Your excellent decision-making ability and above-average oral communication skills will enable you to effectively lead and motivate your team members.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily production of pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Supervise and direct a team of pastry chefs, scheduling workload and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak periods.
- Perform inventory control and rotate stock to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
