Rush Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a skilled Shop Foreperson to provide technical and administrative support to our service team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for maintaining service quality, assisting in profitability, and ensuring safe work practices are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations and the Company's Health and Safety Policy.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to technicians during day-to-day business operations.
  • Maintain service quality and assist on jobs as needed.
  • Strive for harmony with all departments, focusing on teamwork and exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain contact with service customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate with the Service Advisor to schedule shop work efficiently and check on job status.
  • Motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of technicians.
  • Ensure technicians follow warranty material disposition procedures.
  • Prepare repair estimates as required.
  • Review technicians' repair orders to ensure accuracy before assigning the next job.
  • Stay up-to-date with current information through training and service letters on technological advances.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Licensed 310T Technician with Certification is an asset.
  • Good communication skills and work attitude.
  • Quality-driven.
  • SAP experience is an asset.
  • Proficient with software and computers.
  • Valid Driver's License and a good driving record.
  • Criminal Record Check.
  • Driver's Abstract.
  • AZ/DZ License is an asset.
