As Shop Foreperson you will be reporting to the Service Manager your main responsibilities will be providing both technical and administrative support to the technicians during the day- to day business operations, maintaining service quality, assisting in profitability and ensuring safe work practices are adhered to. We are looking to fill our day shift. 

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy. Providing both technical and administrative support to technicians during the day-to-day business operations. Maintains service quality and assisting, when possible, on jobs (on shop floor). Strives for harmony with all departments with a strong focus on teamwork and exceptional customer service. Maintains contact with service customers on a timely basis and in a professional manner. Communicates with the Service Advisor on a timely basis, to schedule shop work efficiently and check on job status as often as necessary. Motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of technicians. Ensures that technicians follow warranty material disposition procedures. Prepares repair estimates when required. Reviews technicians’ repair orders to ensure all information is complete and accurate before the next job is assigned to each technician. Keeps up to date with the most current information, through training and service letters on technological advances. Expected to have a positive attitude and promote a healthy work environment Other related duties as requested.

Basic Qualifications

Licensed 310T Technician with Certification is an asset Good communication skills and work attitude Quality Driven SAP experience is an asset Proficient with software and computers. Valid Driver's License and a good driving record Criminal Record Check Driver's Abstract AZ/DZ License is an asset
