Job Summary

Lafarge Construction, a leading provider of construction solutions, is seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain front-end wheel loaders, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
  • Assist plant operators with daily operations and upkeep, including performing routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Monitor and ensure accurate weights, material production, and quality control.
  • Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and environment by adhering to all company safety and environmental practices and policies.
  • Perform daily equipment checks and maintain accurate records of maintenance performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating a loader
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to read survey markings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-production environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
