Store Manager

The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in retail management and be able to effectively supervise a team of sales workers. The Store Manager will oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, as well as ensure that all sales transactions are accurate and completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Assign tasks to sales staff, ensuring they understand their roles and expectations
- Hire, train, and develop new employees, providing coaching and feedback to help them succeed
- Autorize payments by cheque, manage inventory levels, and make decisions on merchandise returns
- Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing to meet customer demand
- Meet sales targets by analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to drive growth
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
As a key member of the Mattress Planet team, the Store Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive store environment. About You- Post-secondary education, preferably in business or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in a similar industry
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing circumstances
This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
