Key Responsibilities:- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate tax returns and personal income tax returns.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, maintain employee benefits records, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: A degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
We offer a competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and a comprehensive training program.
