The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Global QA team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products across various platforms and devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated test scripts using various tools and technologies, including Selenium, Appium, and Jenkins.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing of software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Conduct thorough testing of software products to ensure they meet quality and reliability standards.
  • Identify and report defects and issues to development teams for resolution.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, test data, and test results to ensure accurate and efficient testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our testing practices remain current and effective.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation and development.
  • Strong knowledge of automation processes, including Selenium, Appium, and Jenkins.
  • Experience with connected devices, including Roku, Apple TV, FireTV, Xbox, PlayStation, Tizen, and WebOS.
  • Understanding of multiple test types, including unit, functional, integration, end-to-end, security, performance, load, and UI tests.
  • Collaboration with development teams across multiple time zones and locations.
  • Ability to review automated test run results, triage failures, and verify results.
  • Framework design and development using Gherkin/BDD.
  • Coding language - Java/JavaScript.
  • UI automation - Selenium/UFT/Tosca.
  • Mobile automation - Appium or any other tool for Android/iOS.
  • CI/CD - Jenkins/Teamcity.
  • Source code management - GitHub/SVN.
  • Test case management - Jira/TestRail.
  • InSprint automation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to scout emerging industry trends, such as AI testing and other best-in-class processes.
  • API automation - RestAssured/SoapUI.
