CIMA Canada Inc is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Industrial Infrastructure team in Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and managing industrial engineering projects, working closely with clients to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Project Design and Management: Participate in the design of multidisciplinary industrial engineering projects, including underground services, pavement structure, earthworks, and drainage.
- Client Management: Manage plant projects for our clients, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
- Technical Studies: Prepare technical, feasibility, and preliminary design studies, estimating construction costs and developing summary work schedules.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate work follow-up, including shop drawings, change notices, and ensuring project compliance with applicable standards.
- Discipline Leadership: Participate in coordination between various departments involved in multidisciplinary projects as discipline leader.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional Certification: Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant professional experience in the infrastructure field, preferably in industrial projects.
- Skills: Experience in project design and execution, project management, and consulting engineering.
- Software Proficiency: Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
