Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at IHAUL FREIGHT SYSTEM INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.

Requirements:

  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel cross-border and for extended periods.
  • Flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player skills.
