About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Light Housekeeping: Assist with laundry, cleaning, and other household tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Certifications: Health Care Aide Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
