Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide supportive care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and grooming
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Provide light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Support clients with daily living activities, such as feeding and toileting
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed
Requirements
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Immunization records
  • Criminal record check
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
  • Vulnerable sector check
Work Environment

As a Home Care Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, and may be required to travel to different locations. You will be working independently, but will have the support of a team and access to resources and training.
