Cybersecurity Professional for Threat Hunting and Response

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Global Security, Monitoring and Incident Response team at Roche in Mississauga, Canada. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the protection of proprietary information, patient data, and computer systems while providing a safe information environment for users.
Responsibilities- Monitor security information, identify threats, and take actions to defend all Roche information systems.
- Partner with other security experts to proactively identify areas of improvement, design and validate preventative and detective controls, as well as design response strategies within a global enterprise.
- Triage and investigate reported security incidents.
- Refine incident management processes and response processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, and at least five years of work experience in cybersecurity. Alternatively, seven years of experience in the field of cybersecurity without a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience driving threat hunting, incident response, or data protection missions and a solid understanding of common security vulnerabilities and attack vectors, as well as their respective mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Powershell/C#, Bash.
- Industry relevant certifications such as BTL1/2, GMON, GCIH, GCFA, GREM, are appreciated but not mandatory.
- Capacity to work independently or as part of a team and to clearly articulate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Estimated Salary Range:$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
