Senior Operations Manager

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving strategic oversight across Client and Assessment Services. You will be responsible for addressing operational challenges, leading change management initiatives, and leveraging project management expertise to ensure efficient program delivery. Your expertise will also be instrumental in developing and delivering product implementation plans, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs and a firm grasp on the healthcare landscape.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and successful completion of collaborative, team-based projects from end-to-end.
- Ensure projects and required activities are planned to deliver value to clients and Enterprise through intended outcomes, managing resources, time, and work to promote progress and adaptability.
- Provide critical thinking and content development leadership, either directly or in partnership with subject matter experts and team members.
- Facilitate decision-making processes, providing advice and guidance to team members and key stakeholders when decisions or options are required.
- Monitor and mitigate risks in collaboration with teams and leadership.
- Coach and mentor teams on project management skills for new product implementation and existing services.
- Assist in leading and enabling teams in delivering services to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, deepen corporate knowledge, and assist in strategizing corporate initiatives for efficiencies.
- Internal collaboration is key, leveraging the HSO team's expertise to strengthen your role.
- Contribute positively to the workplace culture by staying engaged, energized, and making a meaningful impact.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field, such as Health Sciences, Health Policy, or Business Administration.
- PMP certification.
- Clinical experience in a large healthcare organization as a regulated healthcare provider in good standing.
- Progressive healthcare leadership experience (3+ years).
- Progressive and varied experience in project management (5-7 years).
- Strong organizational, communication, and planning skills.
- Understanding and application of change management principles.
- Tried and tested analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including a positive attitude and energy.
- Knowledge of equity, diversity, and inclusiveness principles and the ability to recognize and integrate different perspectives.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and French.
- Accreditation experience within a healthcare organization.
- Availability for travel.
- Comfort with research and analysis.
