Civil Engineering Technologist

Thurber Engineering Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team in Oakville, Ontario.
We are a specialized consulting firm focused on geotechnical engineering, with expertise in transportation, infrastructure, and natural hazards. Our project work involves challenging assignments that require steep terrain analysis, deep foundation design, and soil stabilization techniques.
About the Role- Provide construction inspection and quality control/assurance testing for various infrastructure and transportation projects;
- Conduct field compaction testing of soils and concrete samples;
- Liaise with project engineers and client representatives to ensure project objectives are met;
- Travel to construction sites across Canada.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field;
- Registration with OACETT or immediate eligibility;
- Strong computer skills, including spreadsheet and word-processing applications;
- Valid Class G Driver's license and willingness to travel.
