Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Civil Structural Engineer to join our team in Regina or Saskatoon. As a key member of our Structural team, you will work on various projects, including infrastructure, industrial buildings, and steel structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general project engineering duties under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
  • Work with the project team to prepare technical reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Structural design on infrastructure, including hydraulic structures, industrial buildings, and steel structures.
  • Provide QA/QC support during construction.
  • Perform construction administration, coordination, and supervision duties.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University. A focus on structural engineering is considered an asset.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for general construction methods. Previous field-work experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience or knowledge with design software is considered an asset.
  • Class 5 Drivers License and personal vehicle for out-of-town work as required.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
