Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Helper to join our team at City Roofing And Siding Ltd. As a Roofing Helper, you will assist in various aspects of roofing and construction projects, including loading and unloading materials, reading blueprints, and erecting scaffolding.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Read blueprints and instructions to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other equipment as needed.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and removing debris.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work outdoors and at heights.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, on-the-road job with a 30-40 hour workweek. Work language is English.
