Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Assistant to join our team at City Roofing And Siding Ltd. As a key member of our roofing crew, you will assist in various tasks related to construction, maintenance, and repair of roofs and buildings.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Read blueprints and determine work requirements to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as needed.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to complete roofing projects.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the supervision of experienced crew members.
  • Participate in demolishing buildings and cleaning up debris.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, on-the-road job with a 30-40 hour workweek. The work language is English.
