Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Delivery Operations to join our team at Trident Distributors Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of merchandise to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary skills and training to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet the company's standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Order merchandise and ensure that it is delivered to the correct location on time.
  • Authorize return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Sell merchandise and ensure that all sales are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and present them to management.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory and ensure that all stock is accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
