Job Title: Painter

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Alliston Contracting Ltd. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Mix paint to desired color and texture.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimate costs and materials for painting projects.
  • Work at heights, outdoors, and in various locations.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
Equipment and Machinery Experience:
  • Brush painting.
  • Patterned rollers.
  • Roller painting.
Work Environment:
  • Outdoors.
  • Underground.
  • At heights.
  • Cold/refrigerated.
