Partnership Development Lead

Job Description
We are seeking a Partnership Development Lead to join our team at the University of Ottawa. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing partnerships with various organizations across multiple sectors.
You will work closely with senior leadership, researchers, and other stakeholders to advance the strategic goals of the organization. Your key responsibilities will include:
Core Functions:
- Develop and maintain a database of existing and potential partners
- Foster robust and mutually beneficial relationships with partners across sectors
- Negotiate and draft partnership agreements in alignment with organizational policies
- Serve as liaison between researchers, research institutions, and partners to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Provide business intelligence and advice to leadership on partnership opportunities and strategies
Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum five years of experience developing and implementing partnerships in a related field
- Strong project management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Experience working with technology, including databases and financial systems
- Bilingualism (English and French)
