Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Craftsman to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in baking and decorating pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
  • Prepare special orders, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods with precision and creativity.
  • Draft production schedules to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
