Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Phibro Animal Health Corporation. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for creating demand and adding value through consultative and technical selling with key influencers and decision-makers in the poultry and swine industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting for and developing new customers.
- Supporting and retaining current customers.
- Seeking out opportunities to grow and expand existing business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in sales, with a focus on portfolio and value selling, product support, and collaborative approach.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed annual sales targets, build and maintain strategic customer relationships, handle multiple priorities, and work in a self-directed manner.
- Working knowledge of swine and poultry feed and nutrition industry network, including feed and premix manufacturing companies, independent nutritionist or nutrition practices, veterinarians, and universities.
- Experience with customer relation management (CRM) software.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven sales skills and previous contact with clients and their operation.
- Ability to do formal presentations to large groups of technical and non-technical people.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
