Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Assurance team in Barrie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing year-end engagements and tax returns for clients in various industries
  • Performing audits on a variety of organizations, preparing working papers and financial statements per regulatory standards
  • Building positive working relationships with clients and effectively responding to requests and suggestions
  • Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Communicating with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
  • Engaging in training staff and investing in the professional development of your team

Your Experience and Education

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Completed CPA designation or in the process of completion
  • 2-3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry
  • Experience working in the non-profit industry and a desire to develop further knowledge in this area
  • Strong teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
