Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Diagnose and locate faults in telecommunications equipment, and perform repairs, adjustments, or replacements as needed.
  • Network Inspection: Inspect the operation of telecommunications equipment and networks to identify potential issues.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective telephone equipment to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Test and Analysis: Analyze test results to identify issues and make adjustments or repairs to switching systems, networks, associated equipment, and software.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate test and service reports.
  • Troubleshooting: Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble in telecommunications equipment and networks.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
