Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Elm Hurst Inn & Spa. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Ensure quality control of food and service to meet our high standards.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates to maintain financial efficiency.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements:
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Bonus and permanent employment opportunities.
  • 30 hours per week of work.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
