Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medium to large stationary natural gas equipment, including engines, compressors, pumps, valves, coolers, panels, and generator packages.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance and identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Troubleshoot machinery and equipment malfunctions using advanced diagnostic techniques and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with our service manager to develop repair strategies and provide accurate quotes to customers.
  • Mentor and train junior technicians to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in field service work, preferably in the natural gas industry.
  • Valid Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic, Natural Gas Compression, Automotive, or Millwright Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lead, direct, motivate, and supervise team members.
  • Strong knowledge of engine, generator, and compressor performance and operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
