**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Utilities Maintenance Shift Team Lead, you will be responsible for installing, isolating, troubleshooting, cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining field instrumentation and control systems throughout the facility in a safe and professional manner.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Familiar or proficient using/operating the following equipment:

- Fluke 754 - Process Calibrators
- Rosemount Hart Communicator
- Foundation Fieldbus Equipment
- Testo 350 combustion analyzer
- AMS device manager/Valvelink
- Complete Maintenance Testing, Calibrations and Function Testing, such as:

- Temperature and Pressure Calibrations
- Fisher Control Valves and Positioners (Valve signatures)
- Rosemount Gas Chromatographs
- Bentley Nevada vibration monitors
- SICK GM32 CEMS systems
- Rosemount and Endress Hauser PH/Conductivity analyzers
- Permitting and completing shift rounds and line audits
- Mentoring operations team members specific to Instrumentation
- Maintaining the running plant and ensuring instrumentation reliability is preserved

**Other Details**:

- Job location: Fort McMurray, Alberta - Albian Oil Sands
- Shift schedule: 7x7 - 7 days on, 7 days off, working 12 hours per shift
- Eligible for relocation pursuant to Canadian Natural’s Relocation Regular Policy

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience working with Instrumentation systems in a heavy oil and/or oil sands environment combined with a Journeyman Instrumentation Trade Certificate
- Proficient in site training requirements:

- Permitting
- Ground disturbance
- H2S
- Confined space
- Lockout/Tag out
- Rigging and Lifting Training
- Ability to read, understand and execute construction work packages
- Experienced in:

- A Natural Gas Cogeneration facility (GE Mark VI)
- Foxboro and Honeywell DCS systems
- Troubleshooting and maintaining a CEMS system (SICK)
- Water Treatment Analyzers associated with Steam Generation (Rosemount, Endress Hauser, Hach)
- Gas Chromatographs and combustion analyzers
- Nevada vibration monitoring systems
- Various brands of transmitter installation & maintenance with both HART and Foundation Fieldbus communication protocols
- Maximo maintenance management software and Procal V5 calibration software
- Familiar with standard LOTO procedures
