Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Environmental Manager to join our team. As a key member of our environmental planning team, you will be responsible for leading the environmental aspects of our most complex proposals and projects.
Responsibilities:- Lead the environmental planning and permitting process for our most complicated proposals and projects
- Support and facilitate the delivery of environmental SOPs for other proposals and projects
- Develop and support environmental staff across our district
- Collaborate with transportation planning, engineering, urban design/landscape design, and other disciplines
- Perform quality reviews of deliverables to client requirements
- Prepare for and conduct public and agency involvement activities
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with various levels of agency personnel
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff on technical and professional issues
- 20 or more years in progressively more complex environmental planning roles
- Appropriate degrees in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Environmental Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, or Engineering
- Mastery of Microsoft 365 products to perform assigned tasks
- ESRI ArcGIS skills preferred but not required
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
- Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design-Build team is driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of complex projects. Through our integrated design and construction approach, our multi-disciplinary team works together to improve schedule, control costs, and minimize risk. Our construction-focused engineers work collaboratively with our estimators and builders to design solutions that are innovative, constructible, and designed with a focus on safety.
