Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in the detection, prevention, and management of physiological and pathological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory duties to analyze patient samples and provide accurate test results.
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement laboratory procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Medical Laboratory Technology diploma (MLT) from a recognized institution.
  • Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
