**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist I to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist I, you will be responsible for performing laboratory duties to detect, prevent, and manage physiological and pathological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results.
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Medical Laboratory Technology diploma (MLT)
  • Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
