Job Title: Truck Operator

Rigid Oilfield Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and ensuring the efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer in a safe and efficient manner
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of the vehicle
  • Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques, and maintain professionalism in customer service
  • Perform preventive maintenance, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Defensive Driving Course
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate
  • Professional Driver Improvement Certificate
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bill of lading knowledge
  • Driver logbook experience
  • Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) skills
