Join Our Team as a Registered Practical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at West Parry Sound Health Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our nursing units.

About the Role

This is a part-time position that offers a competitive hourly wage of $32 and membership in the Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP). You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team and community resources to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent quality patient care and leadership to members of the healthcare team
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and community resources
  • Demonstrate expertise in physical assessment, health teaching, and clinical decision making
  • Demonstrate knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs
  • Demonstrate satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references
  • Previous experience in nursing skills pertinent to acute care
