This hybrid role will be based in SISIP's head offices in Ottawa.

The Role

As a Strategic Operations Coordinator, you will provide critical support to the Senior Vice President of SISIP Financial while handling multiple deadlines effectively.

Effective communication and the ability to handle a high volume of work are essential skills for this position.

You will regularly interface with internal and external partners, executives, and senior members of the CAF community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the Senior Vice President and leadership team members.
  • Monitor organizational priorities and initiatives, providing regular reports on progress and recommending improvements as needed.
  • Coordinate support to the leadership team on multiple projects, working with cross-functional teams and internal partners to deliver projects with excellence.
  • Administer meetings and events, including planning, scheduling, conference calls, and recording minutes.
  • Reconcile projects, updating status, and escalating issues to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate communication flow and execute communications on behalf of the Senior Vice President, leadership team, and internal partners.
  • Participate in the mandate of the internal communications team to support employee engagement and organizational communications.
  • Work closely with internal partners to coordinate shared services requirements, such as marketing, translation, and facilities.
Qualifications

A college diploma or certificate in Administration, Office Administration, Business, or a related field is required.

Five or more years of experience in office administration or a related field is preferred.
