About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at TINY HEARTS DAYCARE CENTER. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate records and reports on children's progress.
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through various activities, such as art, music, and dramatic play.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, including storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Assist children in developing good habits, such as eating, dressing, and using the toilet.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Monitor children's behavior and development, and report any concerns to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Child Abuse Registry check and Vulnerable Sector check.
  • Punctuality, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and a team player attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
