**Job Summary**

The HEC Group seeks a highly motivated Strategic Marketing Director to develop and execute marketing strategies that meet organizational objectives. As an out-of-the-box thinker, this individual will research and monitor market conditions and competitor data to inform strategic decision-making.

This role reports to the Senior Brand Manager and is responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing communications, advertising, promotions, and new product innovation. Occasional travel may be required to support various initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the execution of the corporate brand strategy, efficiently communicating client philosophy through various marketing channels.
  • Develop innovative ideas and identify creative solutions to promote them.
  • Lead the innovation pipeline process from idea conception to execution and launch.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure corporate sales goals are met.
  • Monitor and report on consumer, industry, and competitive trends.
  • Research and develop the annual trade advertising plan.
  • Liaise with the creative team to develop visual content supporting the brand and marketing priorities.
  • Ensure brand consistency across the company and its subsidiaries.
  • Utilize project management tools to coordinate and oversee marketing projects effectively.

Requirements and Skills:

  • A Bachelor's degree or accredited college diploma is required, with a focus on Business Administration, marketing strategy, new product innovation, integrated marketing communications, and brand development experience.
  • A minimum of five years of related work experience is required, preferably in the food industry.
  • Experience in market and product segmentation.
  • Ability to conduct fact-based research and analysis of market, competitor, and customer data.
  • Superior communication skills, including presentation and writing skills.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including organization, strategic thinking, and financial responsibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will be flexible to shift assignments as required to meet both customer and business needs.
