Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at DOSA CLUB INDIAN KITCHEN & BAR. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required, providing detailed information on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment, with a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
