About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our culinary team at Quesada Burritos & Tacos as a Culinary Team Member. This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Special Events: Plan and execute special events, such as catering and banquets, to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer experience.
  • Determine Food Portion Sizes and Costs: Analyze menu items and determine optimal portion sizes and costs to maintain profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen and ensure efficient operations.
  • Prepare Dishes for Customers with Food Allergies or Intolerances: Prepare and present dishes that cater to customers with dietary restrictions, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Inspect Kitchens and Food Service Areas: Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train Staff in Food Preparation and Handling: Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Clean Kitchen and Work Areas: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Organize Buffets and Banquets: Plan and execute buffets and banquets, ensuring timely setup, service, and breakdown.
  • Manage Kitchen Operations: Oversee kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Work Hours and Language: This is a permanent position requiring 30-40 hours of work per week, with English as the primary language of communication.
