About the Job
Working within the Complex Rehabilitation Support team at G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive environment that prioritizes client-centered care. Your expertise in occupational therapy will enable you to assess service eligibility, develop care plans, and provide direct care to clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and satisfaction. Collaborating with other system partners, you will incorporate current evidence into practice, striving for continuous improvement and excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • • Working within a client and family model of care, focusing on various adult populations.
    • Collaborating with interprofessional teams to deliver exceptional patient care, emphasizing rehabilitation and support services.
    • Assessing service eligibility, developing care plans, and providing direct care to clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and satisfaction.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • • Current full registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
    • Recent experience in Home Health clinical practice, preferably in a community setting.
    • Valid BC Driver's License, as local area travel may require the use of a personal vehicle.
