Logistics Supervisor Job Description

Petro-Canada gas station is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of our logistics department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the efficient use of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as required
  • Conduct performance reviews and co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure optimal productivity
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Physical ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
