The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer plays a vital role in the Diagnostic Imaging Department, performing routine and specialized ultrasound procedures to ensure proper application of ultrasound techniques and procedures.

Travel to other sites may be required.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound, hold Sonography Canada certification, and possess Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure.

  • Comprehensive understanding of ultrasound technology and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in diagnostic imaging an asset
  • Registration with multiple ultrasound credentials an asset
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

  • Short assignment full-time position; 75 hours biweekly

Compensation and Incentives

$39.96 hourly
