We are seeking a skilled Strategic Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Upstanding Employment Services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, collecting and screening applicants, advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, reviewing candidate inventories, contacting potential applicants to arrange interviews, notifying applicants of results of selection process and preparing job offers, advising managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organizing staff consultation and grievance procedures, negotiating settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinating termination of employment process.

Responsibilities

  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements
  • Collect and screen applicants
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Review candidate inventories
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers

Requirements

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Preferred Qualifications

Computer and technology knowledge in MS Windows, Electronic scheduler, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word

Work Conditions
