Job Description:

The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers and project teams to develop electrical utility distribution system plans, including load forecasts and electrical distribution system models.

  • Develop short range and long range distribution system plans, including conduct electrical load forecasting for utilities, communities, and industrial clients.
  • Perform load flow, short-circuit, and protection coordination studies using CYME or similar power system analysis tools.
  • Evaluate system power use and demand side management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for assisting in the design and planning of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems (4kV–25kV) for utilities, municipalities, and private clients.

  1. Assist in the design and planning of electrical distribution systems, including cable routing, duct bank design, and vault layouts.
  2. Conduct underground distribution design, including cable sizing, duct bank layouts, and grounding.
  3. Support the planning, design, and integration of fiber optic communication systems within electrical distribution and renewable energy designs.
